There is a lot more to building a high efficiency paintball gun than just buying an expensive marker and hitting the field. Sometimes, the accessories and upgrades will really make or break your game. You may be surprised how many players modify their guns. It is easily the vast majority.

Tippmann SSL-200 Electronic Loader

The Tippmann SSL-200 Electronic Loader is an automatic loader similar to the standard hopper, but this design has an electronic feed system that helps reduce jams and keeps your fire rate consistent. These are designed for use with Tippmann paintball guns, but will work with most other brands. That being said, it is best to check the internal and outer diameters of any connection points to make sure the pieces will be compatible before making any purchases.

One of the nicest features of this loader is that it is only active when needed. When compared t other electronic loaders, which are always on and constantly making noise, the Tippmann SSL Electronic Loader is much less noisy and annoying when playing in a quiet field of stealth. This also helps to save the battery and keep you playing longer.

The capacity of this loader is a moderate 200 paintballs, which is nothing amazing, but it is not bad either. With the addition of the electronics and the space needed for the battery, this loader would be too bulky if the capacity was any bigger. This loader is nice and lightweight when compared to other electronic loaders, which is good for long games.

The only major concern is the materials. It is made from a midgrade plastic and might not do well with repeated impact. While I am used to Tippmann paintball guns being able to take a beating and keep going, I can see myself being a little more careful with my guns for fear of cracking the loader in the middle of a game. I have not heard of anyone having problems with this yet, but it is something to be aware of.
